| The
law firm of Ackerman and Kevorkian was formed in 1991. It has engaged
in general civil litigation, primarily in the fields of business
litigation, employment law, disability rights, professional liability,
and personal injury. The firm performs both plaintiff and defense work.
Prior to the forming of Ackerman and Kevorkian, Mr. Ackerman
was a partner in the law firm of Popelka, Allard, McCowan & Jones.
He enjoyed a mixed practice of insurance defense and plaintiff's work
in the areas of business litigation, personal injury, products
liability and toxic torts.
Prior to the forming of Ackerman and
Kevorkian, Mr. Kevorkian worked for the insurance defense firm of
Popelka, Allard, McCowan & Jones for approximately four years. He
practiced primarily insurance defense work in areas of personal injury,
construction and products liability. |
Michael G. Ackerman Michael G. Ackerman was born on November 30, 1948 in Los Angeles, California.
He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1972
from San Franciso State University, his Juris Doctor from Hastings College of the Law and was admitted to practice in 1975. He holds an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell. Kevin B. Kevorkian Kevin B. Kevorkian was born on February 5, 1962 in San Jose, California. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Hastings College
of the Law and was admitted to practice in 1987. He holds a BV rating
with Martindale-Hubbell. He has a degree in economics from the University of California at Berkeley(1984) |
